New furniture models come to the stores in February, according to Bankrate.com, and that turns January into a good month to save on furniture.
However, if you are looking to replace that bedraggled couch and miss the February window, you may get another chance in July, when the new stuff for Fall starts arriving, according to Bankrate.com.

Plane tickets
Airline ticket prices change constantly, driven by competition among airlines, the season, and even fuel prices.
Still, experts point to one time when you can look for good deals:  Wednesday, which is the midpoint of a complicated week cycle that sees prices rise late in the week and then fall early the following week.
“What’s the best time to buy your ticket on Wednesday?  One hour after Tuesday midnight (1 a.m. Wednesday morning),” Peter Greenberg, travel editor for CBS News and travel editor at large for AARP, writes on his website.
“Why? About midnight, the airlines usually reload their computers with the latest low-cost fares that were announced the previous day but will be canceled if they are not purchased within 24 hours,” Greenberg advises.

During the recent Office Business Center Association conference held at the Four Seasons Hotel in Las Vegas, a new President and a new Association name were introduced to the Membership. I’m excited to announce that, by a unanimous vote of the membership at the Association’s annual business meeting this month, the Office Business Center Association International will be changing its name to the Global Workspace Association. This change will be represented publicly on or by November 1, 2011.

This is more than just a name change for the Association. Our new name and focus reflects the fact that we represent a growing, dynamic, and progressive industry.
